Esen Meltem Kaplan

Hello, I am Clinical Psychologist Esen Meltem Kaplan. I graduated from Bahçeşehir University in 2019 as the top student in my faculty, having received a full scholarship to both the Psychological Counseling and Guidance and Psychology departments. Following this, I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Bahçeşehir University, also with a full scholarship and a 4.00 GPA, ranking second in my class. My thesis topic was "Investigation of the Relationship Between Cognitive Distortions and Sleep Quality in Adults in the Moderating Role of Self-Compassion."



Throughout my undergraduate studies, I completed numerous internships, most recently at Moodist Psychiatry & Neurology Hospital, where I had the opportunity to observe many clinical cases exhibiting neurotic, psychotic, and borderline personality disorders. The psychological approaches I enjoy working with primarily include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I also work with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), other anxiety-related disorders, depression and other mood disorders, stress, perfectionism, procrastination and motivation problems, relationship problems, and many other issues.
